Rural Water Management
The vision for management of natural resources in New South Wales seeks to ensure clean, healthy and productive catchments. To achieve this vision, it is essential that agriculture and other natural resource-based industries are developed in a way and that enables sustainable production while maintaining or enhancing the condition of our land and water resources. Managing water for consumptive use is a responsibility of the New South Wales Government. New publications are added from time to time.
Water qualityWater quality is a measure of catchment health. The level of salinity and presence or absence of algae, for example, affect water use.
