Construction Activities
(A) Periodic updates of work progress, consultation activities and planned work schedules. The site must indicate the date of the last update and the frequency of the internet site updates.
Work Progress:
- Contract for constructing the pipeline has been awarded to Mitchell Australasia for $28M
- Murray River power line has been constructed by Country Energy
- The following is anticipated for end May 2006.

This Map will be updated on a monthly basis and will reflect progress in pipeline construction
Consultation Activities:
Extensive consultation has previously been undertaken over the 10 year development of the Darling Anabranch Management Plan (DAMP) and the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the pipeline.
Throughout the development of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for the pipeline, consultation was undertaken. The CEMP has been prepared with the consultation of many Government Agencies, Council and other stakeholder involvement.

Ongoing consultation will occur throughout the construction of the pipeline and associated works. Amanda Mitchell, Mitchell Australasia, will be liaising with the landholders during the construction stage. For additional information, contact Mitchell Australasia on Ph: (03) 5735 4444.
There will also be future landholder consultation with the E Flows Committee and the In-Stream Sub-Committee determining environmental flows for the Anabranch and the removal of the in-stream structures.

Updates will be based on outcomes from monthly Contractor meetings and monthly program / schedule updates. Copies of bi-monthly newsletters from the Proponent to the Anabranch landholders and other consultation activates are documented.
