Draft Tumut River Management Plan

The Public exhibition period for the Draft Tumut River Management plan closed on 6 June 2008.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Tumut River Advisory Committee, with recommendations to be made to the Minister for Water by mid September for his consideration.

The plan outlines long term policy and actions that will allow the day to day management of the Tumut River to occur while maintaining the river’s potential and incrementally improving environmental, social and economic values of the area.

The plan is accompanied by a Review of Environmental Factors
